Pricing depends on the house, not the neighborhood
Two homes on the same street can need very different systems. A 900 square foot ranch with a single slab and an easy vent route is a different job than a 3,200 square foot walk-out with a crawl space, a sump, and a finished basement that has to stay finished. That is why a per-square-foot price list from a phone call is usually wrong in one direction or the other.
What we do instead: ask a few questions, look at the foundation, and give you one fixed number in writing. That number does not move because the job turned out to be what we thought it was.
What moves the price
- Foundation type — slab, basement, crawl space, or a combination each need different work.
- Suction points — one is typical; large or broken-up footprints sometimes need two or three.
- Pipe routing — a clear path through a garage is easy; a finished basement ceiling is not.
- Fan selection — the right fan for the soil and the pipe length, sized rather than guessed.
- Extras — sealing a sump basket, covering crawl space soil, or adding a system monitor.
What our quote always includes
The permit, the materials, the labor, the sealing, the post-installation test, cleanup, and a walkthrough of how the system works. There is no separate line for pulling the permit or for coming back to check our own work.
Ways to keep the cost down
Test before you fix
If you have not tested yet, start there. A short-term kit is inexpensive and may tell you no system is needed.
Do it once, correctly
A system that has to be re-designed or repaired costs more than a properly sized one from the start.
Ask about the route
If you know where the pipe can go — a closet, a garage chase — tell us. It can shorten the job.
Get a firm number
Send us the property details and we will come back with a written, fixed-price estimate — usually the same business day.
