Continuous radon monitors
A test gives you one number. A monitor gives you every day — useful after mitigation, during a basement renovation, or in a home with a radon history.
What a monitor does
A continuous radon monitor measures radon every hour, keeps a running history, and shows you a current reading on the device or in a phone app. Instead of a single snapshot, you can see how your home behaves through weather changes, seasons, and everyday living.
When a monitor makes sense
- After mitigation — confirm the system is still holding your level down, every day, without waiting for a retest.
- Testing stayed inconclusive — between 2 and 4 pCi/L, a monitor shows whether you trend up in winter.
- You finished a basement — new living space in the lowest level deserves its own number.
- You are selling — a documented history is a strong answer to a buyer's question.
- You just want to know — which is a perfectly good reason.
Professional installation
Monitors work best when they are placed correctly and calibrated. We install and set up the device in the right location, connect it to your Wi-Fi, set your alert thresholds, and show you how to read the history. If the number ever climbs, you will already know who to call.
Paired with a system
Every system we install includes a pressure gauge, and a monitor is the outside check on the same question: is my air actually clean? Homeowners who have both tell us it is the difference between hoping and knowing.
